This week is Open Access Week and as such there will be related events aimed at expanding the understanding of Open Access in the library throughout the week. Below is a schedule of events, we would for you to attend a few.
Beyond Our Walls: A conversation with Kristi Jensen

Jensen will present “Open Textbooks: Access, Affordability, and Academic Success.” The presentation will cover: (1) open and OER – what it is and what it isn’t; (2) how issues of affordability can impact student academic success; (3) open textbooks as a solution to affordability issues; (4) identifying barriers to adoption of open textbooks and how to help overcome those barriers; and (5) supporting faculty adoptions of open textbooks.
